From Farm
to Bakery
The story of how a lost farm lease became the start of something beautiful.
We are a neighborhood bakery located in Berthoud, Colorado, offering freshly baked artisan bread, New York style bagels, pastries, breakfast and lunch sandwiches. We focus on sourcing locally produced ingredients and scratch baking.
We believe good food starts close to home. By partnering with local farmers, producers, and small businesses whenever possible, we help strengthen our local food system, support our community's economy, reduce food miles, and bring the freshest, highest-quality ingredients into our bakery.
Bread should be an experience. At Rise Artisan Bread Bakery & Cafe, we pride ourselves in individually handcrafting each bread to achieve the perfect texture, crumb, and crust in every delectable bite.

The Journey
The RISE Story
Harmony Circle Farm
We began baking bread for customers on our farm, Harmony Circle Farm, as a way to supplement farmers' market sales. To our dismay, we lost the lease on our farm after just 18 magical months.

Rise from Ashes
Wanting to continue providing this wonderful product, RISE Artisan Bread was born. The name chosen to remind us that great things can RISE from ashes; offering renewed hope. Our first bread after the rebirth was baked as a thank-you for a friend at their coffee shop in Massachusetts.
Colorado Farmers' Markets
Upon relocating to Berthoud, CO in November 2014, we sought out local farmers' markets — Berthoud, Loveland Railroad Park, Mead, and Greeley — building a following one loaf at a time.

The Storefront
A storefront opportunity presented itself and we decided to take the leap! We are so grateful that we did. We love being your neighborhood bakery & cafe and adore our sweet community.
